- As a Head of North America WPB Service Operations, innovate, build and transform service operations capabilities of WPB IT teams.
- Responsible for overseeing the process (and act as the escalation point) of recovering technology delivered production services from a disrupted state as quickly as possible.
- Ensure HSBC global and local service management best practices are applied and adhered to.
- Identify, plan, implement service resiliency gaps to improve IT service availability of Canada, US and Mexico services. Build service observability capabilities to detect service anomalies before they impact customers.
- Collaborate globally with Europe and AP regions to ensure follow the sun model service operation capabilities are built and be available 24x7 for IT escalations and represent critical IT service failures at Management Execution Calls (MEC).
- Lead multi skilled site reliability engineers, incident commander and liaison officers.
