Senior Technology / Network Consultant
Fundamentals Required:
Understand Routing and switching technologies to a level comfortable to deploy.
Routing Protocols – BGP, OSPF, EIGRP and ISIS
Understand various methods of deploying VPN’s
Has previously worked with Firewalls operationally and deployment
Can create a HLD and understand the key requirements needed
Hands on troubleshooting capabilities and be willing to demonstrate tools used
Has worked with at least one Load balancing vendor operationally and deployment
Can discuss and demonstrate critical tools used/needed to ensure operational baseline
Excellent troubleshooting and design skills needed
Needs to be an SME in at least one particular area
Technologies and Products:
Familiar with Cisco Nexus 7K, 9K, ASR platforms
DC Technologies - Fabric Path, ACI, VPC, OTV, VXLAN, MPLS
Campus Technologies – SD-Access, NAC, DNA, ISE, SD-WAN
Other Technologies – IPAM, Monitoring and Analytics,
Cloud technology exposure
Infrastructure Exposure - Cable types, Optical, Different Interface’s cards
Extranet Services – Client Connectivity
Compute – UCS, Hyperflex
Other Advantages:
Understands and can support Multicast
Linux admin experience
Multivendor – Arista, Infoblox, cPacket
Understands QoS to a deployment level
Experience with Scripting / Automation
Has worked with service provider technologies
CCIE qualified, Cloud Qualifications
Can Demonstrate:
The ability to work independently and know when to engage the wider team
A leader and motivated individual who is always keen to learn
Has validated skills is developing solutions and designs to deployment
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Is a keen follower of technology and is in line with market trends
Understands the importance of client delivery/support and that it’s not 9-5
Can operate at any level of the Project, Design, Implementation and Racking/Patching if necessary

Be available to work US hours if necessary
Weekends are essential as this is when most of the changes take place

Must be quick at understanding requirements
